Announcement

Well, the world is full of photographers. When I went to the Zoo with my wife and son last weekend, I saw every second person there was carrying a DSLR. No, not the entry level stuff – big cameras, expensive cameras.

This made me go and hunt for their pictures online, I went to flickr, deviantart, some local websites and the results are interesting…

There are definitely people with great sense for Art, design and light. But most of them just put their 1000+$ cam to Auto mode and fire. That’s sad and encouraging at the same time.

Because this gives me the drive to offer my photography services to other people on a freelance basis.

I think it’s not about the Price tag of your camera, I think it’s about creativity and the inner motivation to capture great moments.

Feel free to drop by my new online portfolio (which will be changing over time) at

  1. I can’t understand why they use “the bad green rectangle”. I bought a DSLR because the AutoMode of my other cam sucks and I like it to play around with the settings…

  2. Well, I totally agree with you. Most probably people are scared that they mess up their pictures and the results turn out crappy. I’ve tried to encourage ppl to shoot manualy or at least AV/TV – no use…
Even things like taking care of ISO settings (not too high, cause noise) is not on the scope of most shooters interest.
sad sad, but more recognition for us :)
